Daily Inspiration Post – #3 – More Peonies Please!

I logged in to pinterest this morning and I saw this huge beautiful bright pink peony, and I knew what I had to do for today’s inspiration post. MORE PEONIES PLEASE! I can never get enough of big beautiful peonies! They are gorgeous, and if i had the option to make beautiful big and gorgeous peonies an object of my every day life, there would be not one single complaint about it ever. Maybe if I become rich and famous I will request peonies be on my desk everyday. dream on girl, dream on!

12 Days of Christmas – 11 Pipers Piping – Christmas Countdown Wedding Inspiration

It was pretty obvious that with the word “pipers” in the title of today’s inspiration, I simply HAD to make it in to some kind of scottish inspiration. I am a proud Scottish-Canadian, and my father was an immigrant to Canada, so the relations between the land of gingers is strong between my family. From tartan kilts, to heather, castles, thistles and pale skinned red heads everything about this majestic land screams incredible weddings and amazing architecture, history and scenery in to one big visual bang!

I would encourage everyone to go visit the highlands of scotland, and see how wonderful this rocky and amazingly lush country scotland really truly is!

12 Days of Christmas – Ten Lords a Leaping – Christmas Countdown Wedding Inspiration

There is not much that you can do with the Ten Lords a Leaping, but I drew some inspiration for myself from Lord & Taylors Wedding Style, which is usually always black tie. This turned out to be really fun, and I have officially fallen in love with the black and white simplicity and elegance that this inspiration became.

I love the fun textures but also the high class that can easily come together for a fun and youthful but still tasteful wedding. I hope that you love it as much as I do!

12 Days of Christmas – Eight Maids a Milking – Christmas Countdown Wedding Inspiration!

My My MY! I loved working on this inspiration that I did it double the length! I have always been a HUGE lover of teals, blues and china, so when I started putting this inspiration together I nearly died of happiness! Today’s lyrics to follow are ” Eight Maids a Milking”, and can you find where I drew inspiration? Up at the top left is a lovely teal milk jug, and I realized I just had to follow through with teals. Once on pinterest, I quickly found the beautiful blues and teals were such a popular trend in 2012, and because it just started this past year, you know it will continue to be strong in 2013!

My particular favourite of this entire inspiration is that GORGEOUS gown at the bottom! Haute Couture Christian Dior has never looked finer in my eyes! Over all, I hope you learned how fun and easy any wedding can be, but it will always have the touch of elegance. After all…. It is a wedding!
